Whether you like to fantasize or you’re actually planning to buy a new truck, it’s always fun to see the latest big machines up close and shiny. And that’s why you should head to an auto show to check out the GMC Sierra 1500s and HDs of your dreams.

The Canadian Auto Show season kicks off with the Montreal International Auto Show on January 13th, followed by shows in Toronto, Edmonton, Quebec, Calgary and Vancouver. We’ve listed them for you below, along with links to their websites for more details. (Many shows let you buy tickets online, so check out their sites for availability and pricing.)

That’s Autoblog writer Zach Bowman’s description of the GMC Sierra HD All Terrain Concept, after seeing it at the Detroit Auto Show. And it’s probably apt, since the truck features a 6.6-litre Duramax diesel engine with a full 397 horsepower and 765 pound-feet of torque. The Sierra HD All Terrain Concept is making its Canadian debut at the Toronto, Edmonton and Calgary auto shows. We’ve got some photos here to give you a taste of the All Terrain Concept’s "steroid-riddled awesome[ness]," which is, of course, even more awesome in real life.
