Warranty

It's comforting to know that when you purchase a new Chevrolet vehicle, you're getting the best coverage in Canada - the GM 160,000 km/5 year** Powertrain Component Limited Warranty with Roadside Assistance and Courtesy Transportation.

Click here to find out exactly how Chevrolet vehicles are covered and read on to learn about extending your warranty.

Looking for added coverage?

If your warranty is reaching the end of its term, you may want to extend your coverage with the GM Protection Plan (GMPP) and the GM Tire Protection Plan.

The GM Protection Plan

The GM Protection Plan (GMPP) is available for purchase at your local GM Dealer and offers the following benefits:

Total 'Plus': this premium contract covers your vehicle in the event of mechanical failure beyond the Manufacturer's Base Warranty period - even if it results from Normal Wear. Total 'Plus' includes Roadside Assistance and Alternate Transportation. Find out more

Custom Plan: this broad-coverage service covers parts and labour expenses for nine major assemblies in the event of mechanical failure beyond the Manufacturer's Base Warranty period - even if caused by ordinary Normal Wear. The Custom Plan includes Alternate Transportation and Towing. Find out more

Powertrain Plan: the Powertrain Plan covers three critical assemblies for parts and labour costs in the event of mechanical failure beyond the Manufacturer's Base Warranty period - even if the failure is caused by Normal Wear. The Powertrain Plan includes Alternate Transportation and Towing. Find out more

The Tire Protection Plan

The GM Tire Protection Plan (GMTPP) is available for purchase and covers the cost of damages to your tires due to road hazards like nails, pot holes, etc., that result in the tire no longer being able to hold air or be safely operated. Get the details.
