New for 2008, the LS3 small-block V8 pumps out 430 hp - 436 with the available dual-mode exhaust system - making it the most powerful standard Corvette engine ever. Want even more? Corvette Z06's 7.0L LS7 V8 generates 505 hp - the most of any production Corvette engine in history.
The 300 Km/h-Plus Equivalent Of A Fine Leather Glove
Specify the newly available Custom Leather Wrap interior and you'll surround yourself in premium two-tone leather on the instrument panel, door panel uppers, console cover and perforated sport seat surfaces. It's available on all models along with heated Sport bucket seats and power 6-way driver and passenger seats.

Corvette offers you a choice of transmissions, both with 6 forward gears. The standard unit is a short-throw manual gearbox that delivers crisp, positive gear changes, and there's also an available automatic transmission with paddle shifters for tap-up/tap-down control that's been fine-tuned for 2008 for even faster on-demand shifts.
Aircraft-Style Instrumentation
Using a technology first developed for use on fighter jets, Corvette's standard Head-Up Display (HUD) projects key driving information like speed and engine rpm onto the windshield, where you can take it in without ever taking your eyes off the road.
